I already know these will be good! Have one on my wrist and one on my ankle, they are strong smelling but so they should be! Bought a couple of wrist bands from savers.. these are much better! Bugs seem to love me this year, hopefully not anymore

Not sure why or how but they workI am a person who gets bitten on a regular basis but these stopped that and only got bitten at end of summer when I took it off . Would highly recommend to othersKids wore them too

They work

Yes they appear to work, it's just citronella dipped bands. I didn't wear them but placed strategically around my bed and balcony in Egypt. I also followed advice in a review and had them on a backpack to save my legs when dining. I did get bitten but these definitely reduced that amount and didn't leave you stinking like the creams do.

Good for the price

We used these as a back up to different wrist bands whilst in Senegal and The Gambia and they seemed to help keep the bugs at bay. I wore one on my ankle and hung one off of my rucksack when travelling around, sitting on the beaches backed by mangroves and walking around tracks. My husband didn't wear one at one point and got bitten quite a lot. They do have a pungent smell but that's what makes them work, and it's not that unpleasant (so long as you don't hang one on the strap of your rucksack nearest your nose - lesson learnt!). We did have to paddle to get in and out of canoes at times and even after getting wet, the band seemed to be effective. I'd definitely use them again but would go for an all black pack, as some of the colours were really bright.
